Aleksandra Bara is the coordinator of Empowering Women in Agrifood programme for Central and Eastern Europe at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Food. She cooperates with representatives of 12 countries, ensuring the proper conduct of numerous activities related to the programme, the aim of which is to comprehensively support women in the development of their innovative business ideas and enable them to join the unique community of female leaders in the agrifood industry.

Aleksandra has over 5 years of experience in project management for the food sector. Having previously worked, among others, for the FMCG industry, she understood the dynamics of the market and the numerous challenges it has to face. She strongly believes in equal opportunities and inclusive innovation, which is essential to address these challenges for a safe and sustainable agrifood system.
