Olga Trofimtseva

Olga Trofimtseva is an Ukrainian politician, businesswoman, PhD in Agricultura Policies (Humboldt-University of Berlin). Olga has a long track in agrifood sector in Germany for 13 years, starting with academic expertise and with different positions in private German business. Mrs. Trofimtseva was also an expert responsible for standardization and harmonization issues at the German Dairy Association for five years.

After coming back to Ukraine in 2016, Mrs. Trofimtseva has led the Project of German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture “Advising Ukraine on agrarian trade problems in the framework of the Agreement on deep and comprehensive FTA between the EU and Ukraine” and worked actively with Ukrainian and European businesses, Governments and NGOs. In September 2016, she was appointed as a Deputy Minister on European Integration at the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine. From the February till September 2019 Olga was an Acting Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine.

After the governmental assignments, she held the position of CEO at the Epicenter Agro, one of the largest Ukrainian agricultural companies and worked actively as a consultant in the Agrifood Sector, mostly dealing with the issues of food security, export promotion and agricultural trade policies. From February 2022 to July 2023, Olga Trofimtseva worked as an Ambassador-at-large at the Ministry pf Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, responsible for the fields of the food security, economic diplomacy, and export promotion. Since August of this year Mr. Trofimtseva has been leading the agrifood Team at Mykolaiv Water Hub.
